Best Wedding Venues in Indore
We have photographed weddings in many kinds of venues, and the venue changes how the photos look more than people expect. Ceiling height, windows, stage lighting and where the baraat arrives all matter. This is a photographer’s view of choosing a wedding venue in Indore, plus a few well-known names to start your search.

Types of venues
- Hotels. Good for guests who travel in, with rooms on site and a planned flow. Examples in Indore include Indore Marriott Hotel and Sayaji Indore.
- Convention centres. Large halls and multiple event areas. Brilliant Convention Centre in Vijay Nagar says its Grand Hall is a 23,000 sq ft pillarless hall, which is useful for large guest lists and a clear view of the stage.
- Banquet lawns and marriage gardens. More open, and often better for daylight and baraat entries.
- Resorts on the outskirts. Quiet and scenic, but plan for guest travel.
Check each venue’s own website or visit in person for current capacity, rules and availability. We have not listed prices here because they change by date and season.
What photographers look for in a venue
- Light. Natural light for the day functions, and an even stage light for the evening.
- Space for portraits. A quiet corner or lawn for couple portraits.
- Baraat and entry. Wide approach and room for the procession.
- Pillars and ceiling. Many pillars block views. Low ceilings make flash bounce harder.
- Rules. Some venues limit drones or require approvals.

Questions to ask before booking
- Are there other events on the same day, and do they share the entrance?
- What is the sound and music cut-off time?
- Can the decorator and photographer visit beforehand?
- Is there a green room for the bride?
